What is your fee?

Individual therapy is $200 per 50 minute session. I offer shorter or longer sessions for parents and families if needed, and rates are adjusted accordingly. I also offer a sliding scale fee to limited number of clients, depending on financial necessity. Payment is due at the time of service. I accept cash, checks, credit cards, and Zelle.

When and where are you available?

My office is open from Sundays-Wednesdays for in-person or telehealth appointments. I see most clients 1 to 2 times per week. Masks may be required for in-person sessions, depending on current CDC guidelines. All surfaces and therapy materials are disinfected between sessions. Video or phone appointments can be attended using most computers, smart phones, or tablets with a good internet connection. Please email or call me for current available days and times.

Do you take insurance?

I am in network with a limited number of insurance companies, and offer out-of-network services for most other PPOs. If you are interested in using insurance, you can call your insurance to see if I am in your network. If you have a PPO and your insurance accepts out of network providers, I am happy to furnish you with a monthly super-bill for you to submit for possible reimbursement. Always remember to call your insurance provider to confirm your benefits before beginning therapy.

Cancellations: If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, or do not cancel at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full fee for the session.

Telecommunications: Email and texting are used for scheduling purposes only. All other communication is by phone, video or in person. While I might post content from time to time, I do not communicate with clients directly through social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.)

What are your policies?

That depends on what your goals are and what you are working on. Your goals and needs might also change over time. We can talk about this at the beginning of therapy, and throughout the process, and decide together the best course to take.

How long does therapy take?

Simply reach out to me by phone or email and we can begin by scheduling a 10-15 minute free phone consultation. This will give us a chance to talk about your reasons for seeking therapy and what you would like to get out of the process. This will also give us a chance to get to know each other and answer any questions you might have.
